April 2006: After spending a few months at home in Berlin I'm back on the road again. In mid May I start toruring as monitor engineer with Guns N' Roses. Maxie Williams is mixing the sound for Axl, I'm mixing the band and Toby Francis, we toured with Puddle Of Mudd in the past, is mixing the house sound. Please check the tourdates site for more infos.
February 2006: I'm back in LA for a few weeks and some rehearsals.
November 2005: After finishing all Maroon 5 shows for this year I'm finally back in Berlin for a few months of relaxing and seeing friends I haven't seen in a long time.
July 2005: I'm currently mixing monitors for one offs with Maroon 5 as well as with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. In between those shows I'm enjoying some time off.
May 2005: Maroon 5 and crew, including myself, are going to head back to Europe to play a few shows and festivals from end of May until mid June. Subsequently, back in the USA, we play a couple more shows in Las Vegas and Reno. Please check tourdates for further information.
April 2005: Our Honda Civic US Tour is doing very well. We are playing sold out arenas for an audience of 5,000 to 65,000 people and we're having lots of fun! The Rat Sound website contains detailed information about the sound crew and equipment. The Foh Online Magazine wrote a short article about us, as well as Pro Sound News Magazine and Entertainment Design Magazin.
February 2005: The new Maroon 5 tourdates until mid 2005 are online. We're all very excited to head out and play a headliner tour in big venues all over the US. We start rehearsals for the tour March 8 and play our first show at Universals Amphitheatre March 11.
I finally made it and uploaded the first Maroon 5 pictures.
Since 9/22/04 I've been touring with Maroon 5 as their Monitor Engineer (what else?). After two US gigs we'll fly to Japan for a week, then to Europe for 5 weeks and after a few days off we're going to play Australia and New Zealand, before we'll be back for another US run until mid December. I'm looking forward to play Japan again and - of course - to get back to Europe and to be back in Berlin after seven months.
At September 17 + 18, 2004 I played two gigs with the Pointer Sisters. Great Soul music from girls who didn't age much, since the 70's.
On sunday, September 12, 2004, I played the RAMONES "30th Aniversary Party" with the Red Hot Chili Peppers - as their Monitor Engineer. Headliner was, of course, the hosts, Marky and CJ Ramone, joined by many guests, like Rob Zombie, Eddie Vedder and Henry Rollins + Steve Jones! Rob Zombie got ("live on stage") Johnny Ramone on the phone, who was in the hospital and died three days after this, for him, really important event. RIP Johnny!!!
9/11/04 Today we played the last show for a while with Sugar Ray.
On saturday, August 28, 2004, I mixed monitors for the Foo Fighters - one of a few REAL Rock bands of our days - one off show in San Diego. Awesome band, awesome show! I had a lot of fun with crew and band onstage and backstage.
Besides that I'm still touring with Sugar Ray, a well known party band with a couple of hits in the late 90's. We are playing everything from clubs to open airs and festivals in the USA. I am working with a mixture of Wedges and In Ear Monitoring. Please check the tourdates site for more details.
I constantly add new pics to the photo sites. It's worth a visit to check it out. Click here to view the photo sites.
